I turn to the forum again with the question, if someone knows why my heating heats so badly.

...when the cold season came, I had to realize that the heating power of my ́88-er V8 (3.6L) was more than bad. I have already examined the following:
-Cooler water - OK
- Hot air flap moves - OK
- actual value (channel 08 of self-diagnosis) for "HI" is 18
-Reference value (channel 09 of self-diagnosis) for "HI" is 06
This deviation may be possible. To blame? According to the repair guide (which I fortunately have on CD) you can adjust a reverse coupling potentiometer (V68) at the actuator of the temperature control valve. However, the windscreen wiper rod must be kpl. Out.
In the stand, the boy actually heats quite well. As soon as I drive only 1 km it gets cold in the hut. The convection valve is no longer responding. I think she can move by hand, but she keeps going up.
Has anyone ever had this before?

hallo timo,
für die umluftklappe gibt es eine feder, die am steg neben dem öffner und an der klappe eingehängt wird. die neuen sind schmaler und weicher, investier aber mal die paar euro und bau dir ne neue rein. nummer ist laut ruedis eintrag in den f.aq. 443 271 241A . die pneumatik oder was dahinter steckt kann nur auf umluft schalten, zuluft regelt die feder.
bei der heizung kann ich dir nicht helfen, sorry ..

bei der heizung kann ich dir nicht helfen, sorry ..
