Bose system again...

since the topic is just reappearing, even if only in a nutshell......

Is there anyone who can see through Bose and A8?

In any case, I have found nothing on the net of useful general information about the A8.

The background is this: EIne's day last summer I had the impression that my Bose would not sound so good at all, the strong bass was missing - not totally, but rather Filligran, so there is no total defect. But I just know that she had more pressure on the bottom.

Now I am thinking about what this might be all about - the thesis that it could be a mass problem came up with when it came to crafting ..... such a problem could well be present, for some other phenomena (climate control ect.) point in the direction ....

Of course, I am also thinking about replacing parts - just here is my problem: there are apparently different versions of the Bose system in the A8 - different power stages? It also seems that, unlike the V8 the Bose in the A8 does not have an active speaker, but a central multichannel end stage.... which should not always be installed in the same place? Ev. under the changer ?

Is anyone familiar with this or any other sources of information ? Audi and Bose websites are not particularly helpful....
