I've experienced a lot over the years and the different cars I drove, but today's event makes me rather perplexed. I got into my car as always, turned on the lights and drove off. ==References== 10 sec. Fire struck out of the engine compartment.
Both wire harnesses left and right of the engine are badly damaged, nothing really works and worst, I need the car tomorrow and have only one night to repair. I have three questions and I ask for the most precise possible answer. In advance thank you!1. On the engine left and right, a thick wire harness runs which disappears in the engine carrier. I need to know exactly which side and where the cable strands are led into the interior of the vehicle.
2. Apart from the other cable colours, I am interested in the stand/end/remote light and flasher on the left and right, and what is the connector on the left and right headlights?? I assume that I have to shift the light and turn signal lines, because their mass supply lines have ignite and destroyed the other cables.3.How is all this turned on? Like this? Battery-Zündschloss-Lightswitch/Blinker-Switch-Safety-Consumer.
What about the relays? How are these integrated into the electrical circuit? The Kable colors change forward!!! and AFTER!!! Is it possible to avoid the risks to consumers???
I know a lot of questions. Unfortunately, I don't have the schematics, otherwise I wouldn't bother you. By the way, it's a V8 4.2 of 07.93.
Thank you very much and with the wish that you will be spared from something like this-Martin
