Spring circulating air/fresh air flap. Where's she going?

I had the problem with the foggy windows and found that even with me the flap in the passenger footroom does not put on fresh air, because the spring was not available. I bought a new one and now my question is, can someone tell me exactly where the feather is being hung ??? The eyelet on the flap I found but not the counterpart !!
