At the moment my V8 upper edge lower lip is standing, because I really don't know (FAQ and search tortured, nothing). Questions/problems. (3.6 PT, EZ 04/92, 162,500 km)
1. No more brake support, alarm in the display (Bastian, now I can feel how you went last year in your 200-er)
Last Monday, on the BAB on the servo pump, it tore the O-ring of the lower blind plug (where the punched crosses resemble the battery lid). But I didn't notice. Blue cloud out in the back, alarm in the display, stopped, smoke from bonnet, oil flow in front of the wheelbox at the front left and through the whole underbody to the back. The usual program.
BUT!!! ==References== semi-full storage tank and normal braking behaviour.
At the next tank 1 liter filled and piano rolled the last km to the "home port". Until then, except oil loss and agony all i.o., brake, steering zero probs. There was oil in the container.
When the blind plug is removed, however, the inner life of the plug is snapped through the area, meaning the spring is undetectable away, the rest I have found again.
As a result, I bought from the friendly one the said blind plug with O-ring (there is not one single), another spring (there is only one VAG with complete pump) installed, oil on it, left on it, well and no more brake support. Steering goes impeccable. I'm gonna shut out pressure vessels. They worked all the way to the house.
Is that supposed to be the feather??? How long, what wire thickness and slope do the originals have???
2. Cold air in the vehicle, yet the heater is full of sweat.
So, the two O-rings that were resealing the heating antlers to the heads because of water loss on the left. They're both close.
If the cooling water is hot, then the pipes on the heating cooler (under plastic cover, where climate, wiper motor etc.) are also available. ==References== The vacuum controlled valve which makes the circuit up and to work perfectly.
I guess that's still air in the heater cooler, but how do I get it out?
My question, is there any way to vent the heater? If so, where/how?
Desperate / Angry Schrauber greetings (because with my Latin at the end),
Frank
Thanks for your tips.
PS: Werner is right about. of leisure and V8 . . ., it just bugs that every 3 to 4 weeks what gets out again and you hardly dare to drive any further than 50 km !!! But I have to go 260 km to the Fa. Just drive!
PPS: I have already thought about selling or burning off, makes good with approx. 60 l in the tank, but Easter is over. . .
