Since I've had my fat one, it's the ABS lamp. I've already got sensors and I'm going to replace them next week. I have one question, though. If the sensors have a cable break, the lamp stays on immediately, and if they emit a bad signal, they go on while they're driving, right?
If I turn on the ignition, the ABS will certainly do a self-test and check for passage?
According to 1551 an error "brake light switch-no signal" is stored.
It may be that the switch is designed as an "opener" and thus ensures the passage in the self-test in a closed state.
And if he doesn't give a signal why do my brake lights shine perfectly - there are 2 switches, maybe a hydraulic one with brake pressure and a mechanical one for the ABS.
In the straw run schedule I see only one switch on the ABS and it is only one-circuit.
My previous owner had tried another control unit but the error remained - ergo can be excluded at least the most expensive rep variant I think.
If anyone likes, he can tell me a little bit more about it. have always found such small fragments of information in the forum - maybe one has the info-overflow and gives a little more information.
Thank you in advance
