Hello.

Saturday I go on vacation and I have a problem!
I drive a 96' A8 4.2 Quattro TT4

for a week or so I hear "only" when driving slower, e.g., turning a light and short noise respectively. howling (like 2 metals, would rub) in the foreground. This is neither loud nor quiet one can hear but clearly. One or other pedestrians will be aware of this. I can even feel it on the steering wheel (no trembling).

Even with slow curves, you can hear max.20 km/h but not always.
At the beginning I thought my servo pump would be gone. But now it is impossible, since the steering wheel does not become heavy.Lenk gearbox can not be, since it was renewed by the previous owner 15 months ago (with Audi).

Axle cuffs were renewed without the old cuffs being damaged.
And as I said, it doesn't always come.Perhaps it won't come back in a week or tomorrow.

Which could be the causes? — 1 Cor.

My car behaves very well with longer motorway rides e.g. v-Max.Only the tyres, that's all to be heard.

Who can help me?

PS: My car is absolutely dry below without any leaks.

THANK YOU!

HI!

Vielleicht Bremssteine runter? Vielleicht Radlager defekt?

Hallo,

Gruss
