As with so much V8 my fat guy also had the problem that (as in my case) the rear window lifters refused their service. That was the case when I bought it in April. I was pretty upset about that, but I wanted to take the subject in peace when he was in hibernation. Thanks to these forums, I was able to find causes in advance. Of torn ropes over cable breakage, defective switches or control unit everything is there. Even rusted engines are no exception.
So I first checked if the switches got power at all. Since this was the case, I started dismantling the door. It's very quick to disassemble it. In order to be able to expand the lifting mechanics I tried again in the forum the search and found the guide in the FAQ.
To shorten it. The engines were the problem. On the one hand, the lower cone of the rotor had been stuck in the brass bearing due to a lack of lubricant. On the other hand, a magnet has partially disassembled into individual fragments that blocked the rotor.
After thorough cleaning and lubrication from the engine and gearbox, and some test runs, I reassembled everything. And what can I tell you? The window lifters are working like new again.

Hardly audible, the windows can finally be opened and closed.
That's what I call a successful screwdriver Saturday.
On top of that, I also expanded the AI. There are a few little lights broken and the BC started to display absurd values just before the moth. On this subject, I could use some tips on what the problem is. Any cold soldering points, huh?
In any case, I would like to thank the V8 Forum and all its members, who are concerned with the elimination of the big and small problems of our time, sprite, and money-eating
