Mirror heating right dead - causes??

Today I took off the glass with both exterior mirrors, because I was surprised that when the rear window heating was switched on, the mirrors didn't really dry.

So I measured the current flow on the two pins.

To the left I had electricity, to the right none..

What other reasons would there be besides a cable breakage?
