What do I really need...

... to be able to read my error memory yourself ???

I've been in trouble lately with little weeps of my fat guy. To circle errors and also delete my error memory had to be read out several times. Since I have a very friendly/competent and accommodating Audi center in my vicinity, they have already read out the error memory for free on my request several times. The whole thing, however, is getting so slowly unpleasant to me and I think about whether there is not the possibility to read it with relatively little effort without 1551. Nen old 450 Mhz laptop I still have. Maybe one of you knows something more.
