Hallo Forum! Hat jemand von euch Erfahrung mit Bremsenumbau? Ich möchte mir in meinen S8 an der Vorderachse eine andere Bremsanlage verbauen, genau gesagt die RS6 Sättel und die Bremsscheiben vom aktuellen RS4. Die Teile liegen bereits hier, aber vor dem Einbau möchte ich alles zur Eintragung nötige klären. Meine Anliegen ist das folgende: Hat jemand in einem größeren Audi eine Eintragung einer Bremsanlage, die deutlich mehr Kolben hat als die originale, oder infos über die Auswirkungen auf …

Does any of you have any experience with brake remodeling?
I would like to install another brake system in my S8 on the front axle, exactly the RS6 saddles and brake discs from the current RS4. The parts are already here, but before installation I want to clarify everything necessary for registration.

My concern is this:
Does anyone in a larger Audi have a registration of a braking system that has significantly more pistons than the original ones, or infos about the effects on ABS?
My TÜV has to ensure that the conversion does not work reasonably, because the moving volume of brake fluid is higher (8 pistons instead of 2 per saddle, about double moving volume). It is the question of compatibility of the RS6 saddles with the S8 brake cylinder, and the question of the modified brake coefficient and the higher lever arm of the brake (whether the ABS then still reasonably regulates).
I am looking for a registration of a larger brake system. the documents for this.
Who could possibly help me or give me a tip where I get the relevant information, or who could call me a TÜV that has experience with braking systems?

Als erstes würde ich mich direkt an Audi wenden, eventuell gibt es ja eine Freigabe für die von dir erwähnte Kombination.
Versuchen kannst du es ja mal.
Ansonsten kannst du eigentlich nur versuchen einen Tuner zu finden der diese oder wenigstens eine ähnliche mit 8 Kolben Bremse verbaut.

Ich habe gerade eine ähnliche Odyssee hinter mir, habe aber "nur" von den UFO´s im V8 auf HP2 umgerüstet, also von 1 auf 2 Kolben.

Mein TÜV (DEKRA darf keine Bremsen eintragen) hat mir dann alles aufgrund einer Briefkopie eines netten Forumlesers eingetragen. Beim ABS war absolut nichts zu ändern.
Eventuell hast du ja auch mehr Erfolg wenn du vom RS4 die Scheiben und Bremssättel nimmst, oder halt alles vom RS6.
Beim RS6 sollen die Scheiben doch aber schweineteuer sein, ich meine mal was gehört zu haben mit ca. 1000 Euro ?

Wie gesagt mit der Unbedenklichkeitsbescheinigung wirst du wohl mehr Erfolg haben wenn du die komplette Anlage entweder von RS6 oder RS4 verbaust.
