and the problems continue. One of my xenon headlights is in trouble now. Whenever it is warm in the engine compartment, the left headlight starts flickering when it is switched on. (Even in the summer half-year - as long as you can talk about it this year - always goes on), parallel to this one stops the actuator of the headlight height adjustment working.
Well, I thought change the ECU. Push cake, the error is now constant. Whether warm or cold, the headlights flicker at the first turn on! Could it be the little ignition in the headlight? Or is it the power supply? I retrofitted the headlights at the time without running them over relays.

Ich komme zwar aus der V8, nicht A8-Ecke, aber an Deiner Stelle würde ich mal die eigentliche Gasentladungslampe ( Brenner ) seitenweise austauschen.
In wie weit man an die Zündgeräte zwecks Austausch herankommt, entzieht sich meiner Kenntnis, aber dies wäre der nächste Schritt, den Fehler einzugrenzen.

Da hilft nur, um es raus zu bekommen, alle Komponenten über Kreuz tauschen, dann weißt Du was defekt ist.
