Hello.
I'm new here in the forum and I'm very glad to have found this page, here are many useful tips.
So now to my problem, a buddy of mine bought a V8 4.2 L year 94. Unfortunately, the thickness has no remote control, and the original IR remote control that was available for the V8 does not like it. That's why I saw a cheap item ordered from Ebay because of a remote control and the seller also said that it should fit. But that wasn't the only thing that could make the remote control connected after the installation plan was occasionally shutting down and shooting the fuse of the ZV.
I had already had the same test on a B4 there but my luck was that the rack for the trunk was not switched by a change-contaminated but a pure ground circuit was able to connect the remote control there, but this contact does not have the thickness.
The next test is, he likes to have an Audi key, I have to struggle with it and I have managed to install the board of the cheap remote control into an A6 key, only unfortunately this one can not.
Has anyone ever had that problem before?
Or who wants a ZV remote control that works in a V8 and where you fit the control board into an Audi key (best of the A6 because we get some for free)?
When I disassembled the thickness I saw that apparently a remote control was installed since the cables on the vacuum pump were all cut in by crocodile clamps. So there is a remote control, only the problem remains with the board and the Audi key.
I would like to thank you for your helpful answers.
