Hallo V8ler, wer von Euch da draussen weiss wie man das Tachosignal testen kann. Bekanntlich wird es ja ausserhalb von Armaturenbrett von der Klima, Servotronic, Tempomat und Radio (GALA) verwendet. Das Signal funktioniert innerhalb des Armaturenbretts ohne Probleme (Verbrauchsanzeige, Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit). Ich habe jedoch das subjektive Gefühl, das sich die Servolenkung bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten zu leicht anfühlt. Ausserdem funktioniert der Tempomat nicht. Gerüchteweise soll es ein …

Which one of you out there knows how to test the speedometer signal.

It is well known that it is used outside of dashboard of the climate, Servotronic, Tempomat and Radio (GALA).
The signal works within the dashboard without any problems (consumption display, average speed).

However, I have the subjective feeling that the power steering feels too easy at high speeds. Besides, the cruise control doesn't work.

Rumor has it to be an impulse signal, which would mean you could check it with a multimeter (frequency measurement). There I also get a frequency, which remains constant at 44Hz. Is this broken or is the signal different?

What do you know about that, I don't know anymore.
