Bose and new car radios

Hello, everybody.

yes I know it has been discussed here a lot about the Bose system and the connection of radios installed on the factory side.
But here's the thing:

I was in a big discounter today (Pluto or Mars was his name, I think) and I talked to a guy from the car-hifi department.
He told me that it is possible to connect the Bose system with the higher-quality blue point radios without Diez adapters.
This immediately raised questions and I was thinking about the community here.
It's exactly the blue point "Bronx" that he offers me for an attractive price.
Is it now possible or not to work without Diez??? That is my real question. And if so, how strong - if at all - are the sound losses.
I also think that some technical progress must have been made between the radio characteristics of the time and the current ones, right?

Thanks for the help already now!!!

Welcome
