Replacement of the seal on the automatic selector lever

Since I am bringing the V8 back to the front, I want to replace the "sealing" on the automatic selector lever, because it is torn.

So I pulled out the wooden frame around (I knew thanks to it forums how to do it!!!!).

But then I sat there: How about everything in the world you get the "box" on top of the gearbox? The plate with the gait marking practically forms the cover of the whole schose... and on the back of this lid I think this torn seal is attached ...
