Hi,
after my V8 started to lose cooling fluid at several corners and ends in the last year (first the balancing tank, then behind the block, then with the stationary heating) and after having had trouble-free years before, I finally changed the lid of the cooling liquid balancing tank.
The old lid "sounds" very strange: when you shake it, it gives off a "klong" like a feather. The new one doesn't have the problem. Has any of you ever seen this before? I really think the lid was to blame for the leaks by now.
Thank you!
Bastian

Hallo Bastian
