Air-conditioning engine only for air conditioning?

Hi!

Remodeled my V8 to without a climate compressor. Now I don't need the electric fan anymore (which is constantly running at position disc).

Now the real question. Can I clamp it off or run it with a hot engine in addition to the viscofan?
