Hello everyone.
today I was at my Audi dealer and picked up my treasure, mainly because of the BOSE exchange action.They had but some spare part not there and therefore nothing happened. Since I was already there, I asked the nice siren to read out my error memory (i.e. the one from v8 *g*). he did then also 3 errors he found, then I asked him to delete the error memory.
(because I have to go back anyway to finish the BOSE-tausch)
then I can drive again and see if the mistakes come back. but he told me
"..I can't delete them! that can only be done when the errors are repaired!..."
now my question: is that true, I thought you can delete it without repair. since I am not the expert I accepted it for the time being. Is he right or not?

Stimmt natürlich nicht, nach Abfrage des Fehlerspeichers kann man ihn auch löschen. Es wird dann aber so sein, daß beim nächsten Aus- und Einschalten der Zündung die Fehler wieder drinstehen, so nicht zwischenzeitlich repariert...
Glaub mit Batterie abklemmen für 10 Minuten müssten sie auch weg sein!
