Gear change Manual transmissions

Hello.

I want to change the manual transmission on my S4 V8. I haven't done it with Audi yet and a few questions about it.
Can this be done without this support for the engine on the fenders?
What else should you do (the sealing ring behind the clutch, something else?).
If I understood the WHB correctly, would I need two gear jacks - one for the unit carrier and one for the transmission, or does one reach?
Which oil comes into the manual transmission?
It's a 93 S4, but I think the difference to the V8 won't be that big.
