Moin,

so, since I finally started with my incontinent gearbox (automaton 4.2), I first dismantled the cat and searched for the cause today. The "small" cardan shaft, which runs sideways at the transmission and connects the front axle drive with the middle differential, is directly at the entrance of the middle differential. Now I ask myself, is it easier to change the gear completely, because I still have one left, but I would like to make all the Simmerrings again, or seal off the middle dipping entrance. Has anyone done this before and is there another seal between gearbox and middle diff (except of course the shaft sealing ring) ?? Please help me further, on the one hand I am not keen to expand the gearbox, on the other hand I do not have to do it for sealing the shafts too???

Until then

Matthias

...Bond blablabla
