VAG door lock repair - without words

Hello community,

now I am also affected by the ignorance of a car master.

Problem: Key turns into void, closing and opening the central locking from the driver's door no longer go. Door handle still working.

Diagnosis: Small plastic part is broken, goes easy to replace.

Order: Lock the driver's side, install and repair the lock.

Five-hour repair attempt... (no joke!)

Conclusion:

1) Opening and closing worked with the key only with a lot of force, when closing there is always a loud crack - cause: Poles have been bent when "repairing".

2) When opening the alarm system is activated - cause: Position of the rotary wheel when installing the door lock is not considered, because function unknown.

3) Rotating clamp used only with difficulty after a past attempt, for this extra "right-bent and flattened, so that it is better to grip with the pliers" - Rotating clamp is without function and falls out again and again, the locking cylinder wobbles and is not fixed.

4) Door panel is not completely fixed - cause: two clips are broken off, the upper screws are missing altogether.

5) Window lifter in front function inverse - cause: connector swapped.

I have everything out and built in at home, now everything works perfectly, only I have to optimize the pole and the rotary clamp is still a bit bent and maybe falls out again. I'll reorder them and build them myself.

Duration: 70 min.

And the nice gentleman only wanted the best and made every effort. I'm afraid that didn't do it.

Otherwise I am very satisfied with my workshop so far, the other two employees are also really great.

Only with the nice gentleman of yesterday (please don't misunderstand) the knowledge was not enough.

Until Altingen still a good time.

Hallo!
