As explained in an earlier thread, I have the problem with the old climate that the "REC" button always lights up for the circulating air operation (and always the same light).
I should look behind the glove compartment for a flap.
Okay, I found the flap, but no matter if the button is pressed or not, the flap just hangs down limp.
Is there still a mechanism on there somewhere?
If so, does the whole glove compartment have to go out for repair? This looks like a pretty big mess (and that with my big fingers!).
I am grateful for all the tips.

Tja dann hast du das gleich prob wie ich ! ! !
Die Feder ist gebrochen, das ist eine Fummelei die da wieder rein zu bekommen. Aber zu erst muß man so eine Feder sich neu holen (habe ich noch nicht), denn dies gebrochende wieder einzusetzten geht nicht da die Länge eine Wichtige Rolle Spielt.

Vielleicht ist auch nur der Schalter im Eimer? Oder ist die Kontrolleuchte nicht der soll-Zustand, sondern der ist-Zustand der Klappe?

auch wenn ich die Klappe von Hand schließe, leuchtet die Kontrolleuchte unentwegt. Den Istzustand bildet sie wohl nicht ab.
Aber klar, der Schalter selbst kann natürlich auch "hängen".
Nur, wo soll ich anfangen zu suchen, was ist das geringere Übel ?
