I have expanded my window lifter to look for the cause why they no longer work (driver side ). The test was not so good.Although the window lifter shot up, it tortures itself as usual and stops after only a few cm.
Did I do something wrong when I was installing it ? I'm not really sure how the rope gets wrapped up.
With me it is now like this : window above, the rope from above fills the roll almost completely. The se8il from below is only half a turn on the roll, so it goes into the fixing eye just like that.
If The Window is down, should it be logically the other way around ?? So the rope from above just so on the roll and that from below almost completely on the roll.
I've got a passenger door in the basement and I've already bought the engine because I thought it was on the engine. But the rope looks different wrapped up.It looks as if both se8iles were the same length and both would be equally wrapped on the roll.So each rope would wash the roll to 1\2.
Were there any changes ? Is my rope wrapped up properly? Is it the engine?
