I am a V8 newcomer and wanted to ask if someone knows if between trouser tube and cracker at 3.6l bj. 88 a seal is sitting?!
Mine's blowing pretty hard, but I can't see exactly if there's a seal in between. A screw from the flange is quite loose and clatters back and forth.

Hi,
ja, da sitzt ein recht dicker Metallring zwischen, konisch geformt, der die beiden Trichter der Rohre abdichtet. Deine(r) dürfte(n) jetzt aber im Auspuff liegen und dort klappern.
