I'd like to buy a 3.7 automatic.
I found a slight howl on the test drive.
It is speed dependent and can also be heard in idle mode.
According to the Audi dealer, this is normal. It's not very loud either, but I never heard in my 2.8.
How are your experiences howling your 3,7s or not?
The car otherwise makes a very good impression has run 80000 and is from 99.

Hallo,
hat meiner auch. Ist ein "singendes" Geräusch bei mir. Tippe mal auf die Umlenkrollen des Keilriemens.
2 Stück ca. 100 Euro Materialkosten, ist aber schon mit einigem Aufwand verbunden.

Heulen oder Kreischen? Heulen sind irgendwelche Riemen, Kreischen die Ölpumpe vom Getriebe!
Obacht! Kein merkwürdiges Geräusch ist "Normal"! Der Händler soll man "ganz noomal" die Teile vor dem Kauf tauschen die nicht richtig funktionieren. Wenn die PDC Fehler ausgibt soll er sie doch erneuern! Denn "Normal" ist das bestimmt nicht......
