Hi, by all means,

I (my 8s) had a small problem...which slipped/squeaked when the climate compressor shuts down (e.g.: when I go from Econ to car).
Yesterday I crawled under the car, removed cover...and I had to find out that the belt has an automatic tensioner (so a kind of stossdaempfer), so my question(s):
can I assume that the strap has stretched?
Or is the "daempfer" too limp?
or is there a kind of "basic setting" where I can change the pretension?
