Ignition lock

Hello!

Can someone please tell me how to get the Bowden train at the ignition lock? I mean the Bowden train that locks the ignition lock and doesn't release the key if the automatic selector lever doesn't stand on P. I have to change this Bowden train because the old one's broken. But I don't get the old Bowden train pulled up from the bracket on the ignition lock because the carrier is in the way there. Must and can I extend the complete ignition lock??? If so, how do I do it best? I hope they understand what I mean.
