Strange phenomenon!

Hi,
Recently we had a V8 with modest braking power here !
On the AB the braking went at least once again quite well, but the second time the kick went into the empty !
When the car was here, it was noticeable that the pedal had to be pushed very far to get some braking power at all.
When changing the gas train (is more important than the brake) ) a small rinsal on the brake pedal and the injection wall in the interior was noticed.Taste and smell tests at least revealed that it was not a hydraulic fluid.
So we expanded the HBZ and looked for a leak, but not a problem.Inwardly, but not outward.
Now we have also changed the brake power amplifier (since somewhere obviously leak).
Now the brake pressure point is already far ahead, as it is heard and everything is good.
However, how the liquid (probably brake fluid) could get into the BKV is a mystery to us.
I'm just writing this because many people complain about modest braking power here, maybe some should just overtake their brakes before the money is invested in fat 18" or 19" rims. !
Greetings Thomas
