Last week I dragged my old Jetta I GLS to the light and will be putting it back into operation this summer.He has been running on my red 07 number for several years, so he wouldn't be asking for the scrapping premium anyway.
Since a feather was broken in front years ago and it was left standing, I decided to change it.
Now I have asked our parts dealer for prices : a spring just under 71 euros minus percent, make with two springs 142 euros !BUT he has another H&R set with 30-40mm deeper laying in the offer, for almost 110 euros (less percent, for 4 springs !!).
Since he has a glass roof built in afterwards and thus is a "total damage" anyway, so no question what I do.Another two new shock absorbers in the front and he comes back into the traffic!Thanks to scrapping premium so be one of the last on our roads!
Now only the thick dust layer has to be replaced and one or the other old petrol line replaced.
