A few months ago I had already put this request here in the V8 forum and in the A8 forum. The A8 forum kicked me out, although the problem I had could have been answered by a driver of an A8.

To the problem:

I have on my steam hammer (lovingly also called Töf-Töf) front and rear 9 x 18 with 245/40 ZR 18 on it Mille Miglia EVO 5. These rims are no longer built and because of lack of rims I have forced rear BMW rims to call with adapter plates. Since these BMW rims have an ET 45 instead of ET 35 like the front Audi rims, I have chosen adapter plates in thickness of 25 mm, so I have achieved a 15 mm sprue width compared to the Audi rim. Now standing up to the fender edge, looks of course hammer :-)

So far so good

Now, my flaps are grinding at the fender edge when the car dives deep (such as the TÜV with ramp left in front and right in back) because the car is also 40 mm thanks to H&R.

What solution is there to allow me to register this? There's to be spring travel limiters. On the pictures of some of them I have already seen extreme tyres that have a similar problem. And the adapter plates, how do I get them registered, all the reports are in.
