I'd like to get rid of my A8 story. It may also be helpful for one or the other. Motivation. I bought my 96s 4.2 with 176tkm, S-Line and full equipment Christmas 2006, whereby the seller cheated me, because the gearbox was defective (4. Gang was practically freewheel, no force closing) Test drive unfortunately only made in the inner city and the defect not noticed, wrong address indicated in the purchase contract... Well, then I converted it to gas myself, but the consumption was with only 3 gears beyond the 20 liters, so the cart was deregistered and I was again concentrated on my VW Bus T3. I thought about it for a long time, but sales with transmission failure would have meant too much loss. So in winter 2007 used gearbox bought from Ebay. That was then until spring 2009 in the garage (professional, house building) and the Audi stood in the garden as a decoration (decadently...I know) and had already set moss in the meantime. Then the A8 was given in January 09 to a friend with a workshop for the gearbox installation, but he had no time and did not get the gearbox out with stage properly. So I took the matter into my own hands and quickly removed the complete engine with gearbox in my garage (rubber and mobile motor crane) and replaced the gearbox. It was really wonderful, as Audi was already aware that he had to get out more often ;o) Well, then gear oil and sieve changed, new brake in front (ebay-billigbrake for 100 euros, but the fun is absolutely great) and off to TÜV. Actually, I wanted to sell it now, but the clearly fallen price level has deterred me. In addition, the A8 looks really cool and is also doing great with the full equipment. The gas plant also runs well (Easyjet with wheel pit tank) and is registered. In addition, I have now almost repaired it (gear unit, brake, petrol pump new, compensation tank, oil tank seal, joint drive shaft etc.) and would

So, I hope I didn't bore anyone and the Audi is still holding for a while, rust is thank God not so much the topic with the car (except for various axle parts).
I attached two pictures, but still without track spreads and the end pot. Besides, he's got white side-blinkers now.
Greetings.
