Ich habe meinen V8 kurzzeitig nochmal geweckt. Ich hatte am Mittwoch angefangen und habe 4 neue "schärfere" Nockenwellen verbaut. Gestern Abend war ich endlich fertig. Heut morgen beim Schlüsseldrehen war mir doch ganz schön mulmig zu mute. Aber er sprang sofort an.Zwar lief er noch stark unruhig,aber das haben wir gleich behoben(mußte noch eingestellt werden).Ist doch immer wieder schön Freunde zu haben ,die auch am Sonntag in ihre Firma dürfen. I woke up my V8 for a short time.

I started on Wednesday and installed 4 new "sharper" camshafts.
Last night, I was finally done.

This morning when I turned the key, I was pretty tired of it.
But he jumped immediately.Although he was still running very restless, but we fixed that right away (should still be hired).It's always nice to have friends who can also go to their company on Sunday.
And now he's doing really great.

I also got away very cheaply (550€ complete with springs and chains).On the occasion we also immediately renewed the shaft seals.

In the spring (after hibernation) I will go to Berlin with a buddy (S2 Avant) on a quattro test bench and see what all this has done.Of course, only when he has "turned in" again.

I have also acquired a real rarity.They are from MTM.Although they are already 8 years old, they were still original packed and have never run.
