Yesterday evening, the function of the windscreen wiper was dissolved in favor of my Audi 90.
It worked perfectly before and when the rain subsided again I issued it. But now the rain got more heavy again and so I wanted to push the steering stick lever again but no movement, no matter in which stage...
I just thought the fuse was broken, but it was okay. After that, I suspected the relay. So, relay pulled and a pin looked suspiciously dark. Of course (Murphy ́s Law) I was standing in the middle of the Wallapampa (dark, rain like the Sa...) and needed the windscreen wiper function, so I wanted to bridge the relay with a piece of wire and set it to permanent function. But before I could do this I briefly started the ignition and see: windshield wipers work, WITHOUT RELAIS!!!!
On the way towards home I came to the steering stick lever and again nifty wiped with discs.
At home, I then switched the supposedly defective relay for another and checked the wiping function. Works perfectly again.
Precautionary I treated the slices with Rain X last night, because I did not trust the peace so much and I did well. This morning on the way to work, the windshield wiper started his work in the short term and then acknowledged his service again.
What can that be? Defected lenstock lever? Windscreen wiper engine defective? I don't know any more...
