Hello! I'm new here and I have an A8 Bj 96. I heard that this model series has a child's disease, and that's a clack from the front axle. Somehow, the brake pads are supposed to be used to insert distance discs that prevent a clacker. Somebody can help me out.

Hallo, bin neu hier und habe die Frage gerade erst gelesen. Bis zur endgültigen Lösung dieses Problems hat mein A8 40 TKm auf die Rolle bekommen. Es sind die Bremssättel. Wenn das Rad runter ist, und du wackelst an den Sätteln, bekommst du das Geräusch. Relativ leise. Aber im Fahrzeug überträgt und verstärkt sich das. Da gibt es spezielle "Federn" zu kaufen, die in die Sattelbefestigung einklemmst und Schluss ist mit Klappern. Viel Erfolg!!
