My name is Jens and I'm new here in the forum.(very interesting and informative) I'm approx. A year ago, I switched to V8 and now I have my first problem. The engine has a relatively loud running noise in the cold state. I only had a pulley or something on my mind. Then I took down the ribbed belt. But the sound is still there.(doesn't come from the timing belt) When listening carefully, I would place the noise in the area of the distributors.As I said once the engine is warm, it runs quietly. I hope you can help me.

Es ist ein metallisches Geräusch, als ob etwas schleift und es ist drehzahlabhängig
Geräusche per Ferndiagnose zu beurteilen ist fast so schwer wie die Lottozahlen.....
Wo kommste denn her ??? Vielleicht kann sich das mal jemand anhören ???

Ich weiß das so etwas schwierig ist. aber es könnte ja sein das der V8 Motor gewisse Schwachstellen in dieser Richtung hat.Komme aus dem Norden der Republik aus Soltau genau in der Mitte von Hamburg und Hannover.
Da oben gibts V8 Fahrer in Hülle und Fülle ........ warte mal ab ; es wird sich ein "Eingeborener" melden
