Question about the gear-side drive shaft angle

Good morning community

When I searched my workshop books from the V8 in terms of chassis, I got stuck with the drive shafts last night. To be precise, the gear-side drive shaft joint.
I then curiously went into the net and surprised to find that the front gear-side joints should not fit for the inside back. The parts with cuffs look the same, but...?
What's the difference? Is the flange of the cuffs thicker from the back than the front or is the joint built differently?
So, for once, pure neugiers. Because I'm gonna be "dran" sometime.

V8 Mode greetings

Hey Martin

Danke Dir.
