yes, as I already announced, I bought a 99 A8 and completed the first "boy ride" yesterday.
It is a 4.2er 5V, so you could actually assume that further travels burden the wallet quite properly - by reason! Even with my 220V savings miracle, I never managed to get such values on the highway. At 130km/h, the cruise cruiser in, after 400km out again, average consumption: 8.6 liters. There you go.

After all, it was asked for photos to clarify the question whether he had an extended leather outfit. So maybe that's completely normal, but with me the middle tunnel, the card compartment, the glove compartment and the complete door panel on the frame is leathered (not just the edition). See Annex.
In any case, the car makes an excellent overall impression both inside and outside, thanks to extensive history, I also feel very well taken care of by the technology, at least for now.
Of course, it is a completely different dimension than the V8 or even the 220V, whereby the handling of a really well-repaired V8 (all axle parts and bearings new) is not so seriously different. The engine has a completely different torque at the bottom, which was in need of getting used to at the beginning. The fact that the drum around, especially the dam, is another league is undisputed for me at the latest. Driving in the V8 or 220V is certainly the more direct and closely connected result. Oh well, I must look forward to all three cars

So thanks again to all who stood by me with advice and action and will still hold me in the arms when the first problems are in the house

Good pictures follow later.
