now mine also got caught, maybe he was standing too long (almost 1.5 years), each time in the last winter season the gearbox on the shaft became leaking to the front differential !
It is expressed by stains in the parking lot and light oil smell from the direction of the cat !
Since everything is only running on the heat protection, you do not notice it immediately, only when it has fully drained, it drips off!
Between the cats there is a small opening in the heat protection and that's exactly where it comes out!
In the appendix of this heat protection with drops !

...da ich sowieso einen Getriebeölwechsel mit Sieb machen wollte,habe ich den Auspuff am X-Rohr inkl. Kats ausgebaut !
Den Hitzeschutz habe ich dann hochkant zum "austropfen" in eine Wanne gestellt !
Dann kann man das Elend auch schon sehen !

Hi,
jetzt gilt es das Getriebe zu zerlegen ,ist nicht einfach überall an die Schrauben zu kommen,aber man muß das Getriebe nicht ausbauen !
Im Anhang mal die Teilesammlung !
Materialpreis der Neuteile inkl. Sieb,Öl usw. etwa 200-250Euro !
Die Arbeit steht auf einem anderen Blatt !

Stimmt die Vorderachsgeometrie nicht, weil die Reifen innen abgefahren sind?
