Hello, everybody.
I'm new here in the forum and I'm from Aalen.
I have the following problem which can be described badly but I give my best ;-)
My A8 4,2l Bj 1998 has 224000 down and since yesterday a strange noise which does not always appear sporadic.
When starting up and rolling out, it's crawling at the back of the underbody. It's a speed-dependent clack clack as if a ball would hop around in the rim. I am then at the tank on the lifting platform - there comes the noise from the area Differential drive shafts respectively. Kardan ?!?!?
==References== 80 km/h, but I can't hear anything anymore.
It would be the drive shaft or Diff. etc. Should the sound always be there or am I wrong?
Winter tires were put on 6 days ago but I don't think it comes from there because it only happens yesterday.
Hope it's not too complicated written but maybe someone knows what it can be.
Thanks for help

Wenn das Geräusch nur bei bestimmten Drehzahlen auftritt, ist es eher die Kardanwelle bzw. das Mittellager. Achswelle wäre ständig zu hören.
