I saw an interesting service video about the Audi V8 on youtube last night Service Video
There is a description of how to check the timing belt. Since my timing belt is no longer the youngest, I thought I'd take a look at it. In the video it is said that the adjustment of the clamping device is checked by this stop plate or. The Commission has already taken a number of steps to ensure that this is done. And look, there's no stop plate in my house! So my question: Has the part disappeared with the newer V8 or has my smart timing belt changer just left the part out because he didn't get what it's for...?!

danach habe ich auch ,bei meinem ersten Zahnriemenwechsel ,gesucht !
Ist beim ABH (vermutlich auch PT nach 91) nicht mehr verbaut !

danke, das beruhigt mich natürlich.
Wobei ich es sowieso wahrscheinlich nicht verbaut hätte, ich meine nachträglich, schließlich fahre ich schon ein paar Jahre so rum...

Es ist überflüssig, weil wenn es "zum Einsatz" käme, wäre wohl der ZR bereits vorher schon übersprungen.
