many are angry about a non-functional cruise control for the models from 92 !
Benny has even found a way to fix the ECUs, which I will probably try to do, because none of the 4 (!!) ECUs I have are working !
Since I also have 2 old ECUs (which seem not to be so vulnerable by now) I thought I'd rather build on them.
About 15 years ago, I converted my then silver 93 V8 to the cruise control from a 89 or 90s and that worked perfectly.
Of course, what's more annoying is standing down the dashboard or driving without it for a while, so I pulled the cable harness down, behind the glove compartment, and so the ECU change is just a matter of minutes.
!In the appendix a picture, as it now looks to me, of course the glove compartment is again on, but it was easier to change the connection.I could have soldered it, but wanted to maintain a reset function if it did not work....but right at the first test drive the SG made "click" and everything funzt !
