You're gonna get crazy. Rebuild my Fraau's A4 with the 1.8 ADR engine. Now it goes to the engine. These gasket flanges! Question 1: The sealing flange for the crankshaft gear side was probably changed. Below is now half metal and half rubber.
How do I deal with the oil tub seal? Just hang up or lightly fill this rubber with sealing compound?
What do you advise?
Would it even make sense to install the solid compaction or would you rather advise the silicone sealing compound?
Question two: wanted to mount the front flange today. Paper seal applied and all screws tightened with 10 NM. Then the left standing bolt for supporting the oil pump attracted with 25 NM and Zack was over the seal. Do the 25 NMs from the RLF even vote? Even if I were to use silicone sealant, I'd press it to the moon.
