I took a heart yesterday and replaced the gears of the MMI display drive ... Does everything work and no screws are left :x
Now it's like this: the drive works great again, the display goes in perfectly, exactly in the final position makes no noises anymore... while driving out, however, the motor turns on for a quarter of a second too long and overturns again ;(
Can you learn the positions with VCDS so that the motor doesn't spin too long or specify the start and end position exactly? I had marked the position of all the gears, and I didn't notice anything negative when I was assembling...
