Hello dear forum members,
I'm asking for help again today because of a defective electric sliding roof.
The roof opened as usual, but then after the ride no longer closed. Electrically, it doesn't move at all, only with the hand crank I could close it. By the way, the electric window lifters all work as they should.
I looked at the circuit diagrams to measure the electric paths, but I had to find out. that my car was registered for the first time in 1989, but version 10.91 or 10.91 respectively. 09.92. And my model obviously has a different wiring than the current diagrams I know (at least in color).
I noticed, for example, that the switch "E8" on PIN 5 is not connected to a yellow cable, but to a black/blue one. In addition, PIN 5 and PIN 3 are not connected to the yellow cable, but to PIN 3 a separate blue cable goes. Where did this come from? I couldn't find out yet. I also find it strange that the cables are soldered at the switch. Is that normal?
Before I "measure" myself, it would be nice to have the right circuit diagram. Can someone help me?
Thank you in advance.
Bernhard
