Audi Gamma Bose CD Changer

I brought the Bose CD system back into life in my V8, unfortunately the front power amplifiers are broken and even worse is that the website has been changed and these wonderful repair instructions are out of the FAQ. This is very bad, because there were also approaches to build an adapter to set a jack connection instead of CD .. Well. Too bad

Now to my actual question: when I am on the radio on CD spot .. Nothing happens. I can then use the buttons to select the CD and which track, which works perfectly .. But no song starts. Do you have to do "play"?

I can't say much about the function of the changer so far, in any case he gives me the magazine out and it looks like everything looks good.
