after replacing my thermostat from the cooling circuit, as the water temperature on the motorway was always significantly reduced, I now have a power loss in higher speed ranges above 4000rpm.
The reading by VCDS has resulted in:
1 Fault Found:
17800 - Camshaft Position Sensor Bank 2 (G163): Open Short to Plus
P1392 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
Does anyone still know how to further narrow this down or can you check the sensor for function?
If I didn't, I'd be happy to order a new one. Can one take one of MEYLE or rather Bosch?
Apart from that, he has been pumping the hose behind the air filter box since changing the thermostat pulse (see picture). Does anyone know what that is and where it might come from?
