Hello dear V8 community ! Finally it is time: After a long wait (since the beginning of February, you may remember. still dark...) my baby runs with repaired gear (and accordingly big hole in the wallet -just 2,000,- Euros then cost it after all) again !
I didn't want to go that far, so it was a search. Then found a gear doctor at Bonn. So people, if I hadn't been warmly recommended, I would have preferred to return to his truest word "Hinterhofwerkstatt" on the heel when I arrived. But as so often the first appearance is deceiving; the delivered work was great, my baby drives again asthe pure.
Thanks again for the many tips and encouraging words from the congregation.
Actually it's only a pity that the winter is already over (did I have a lot of anticipation especially for snow the all-wheeler). Now I switched to summer tires - the weighing looks even better with the 17-inch 5-spoke wheels (he only had the WR on it when buying).
In the meantime, of course, I continued to browse through the forum full of melancholy and also read the calls for help of the dear New V8-lers with similarly painful first days. Boys (and of course girls) don't be discouraged, it's worth it! Driving in our V8 is easy by (almost) nothing to top! But to whom do I say this?!
Admittedly: I had also thought about giving up the long waiting period and had the first sales intentions (I still had a Z3 excuse for summer anyway...) but that would be a pity for the nice money.
In the whole of the stewing , I repeatedly came across the Euro 2 conversion campaign . What does it actually do exactly (financially I mean) and what does the fun cost. Sorry, didn't want to go back countless pages to find an answer. Villeicht can explain the situation briefly in "two sentences". Thanks in advance.
So before anyone reads because of the length: End for today, good night and have 8.

Hurrah, baby's running again!
