I know I'm not driving a V8, "just" a C4 Quattro Avant, but I couldn't be helped on the homepage for the C4 so far, maybe it works here with you.....
I drive a 93 C4 Quattro Avant with automatic level control on the rear axle. (2.8 litres V6, AAH)
.......and I thought I'd just buy a set of feathers to lower......but I thought...
So my question, the seller of the feathers said that with feathers you can't lower my Audi at the rear, but you can adjust the level system yourself that it's deeper.
Springs with 55mm less should be in front, especially for Audis with level control. the rear is to be adjusted by new adjustment of the control system......
So who can tell me if this is possible, so the story behind it, how it would be and if there were any negatives, so any wear stories... ..etc....
Who knows what, how would it go exactly, respectively. is there a book/guide to buy/borrow somewhere.....???
Thank you for your help.....
Just one more thing:
The dealer can offer me very special springs for my C4 for front, which are specially adapted to the level control system; on the rear axle everything remains with the old, by a new adjustment of the level control system the rear, suitable to the springs front, should be lowered.
In front, the springs should be reduced for 55mm.
Anything else, the special feathers in front should cost as a pair 119,- eurons......correct course???
See you soon, I hope!

...we might want to, but we have not dared..
