Hello, guys, today I have a good tip on all of you. After an instant setting of valve shaft seals and changing the hydropumps (it took me a whole weekend) I now drive 10W40 partly synthetic of LM and consume on 1Tkm 0.6 L oil. This is a peak value and it is related to a successful experiment. Nikasil coating of the pistons etc. I used a Teflon coating for the last oil change every 15 Tkm two bottles Slick 50. After a certain runtime, the engine coats itself over the oil on all moving or rubbing parts. After the next 100Tkm the next inner coating is due. After a runtime of 15 Tkm, normal 10W40 comes up and the effect actually lasts. With my V8 it looks like this now. Motor temperature 93-95 degrees C also in urban traffic, oil temp. 1mm below the next line above 80 degrees C . From the beginning, the machine runs smoothly, it attracts without internal friction, gasoline consumption (on E) also with BAB up to 160 -180 km/h at 12.5 -14 litres. According to my experience this has also been done with a VR6 and the owner is also enthusiastic. I have also switched to a whole transporter fleet of VWLT35 2.8 TDI with also striking good values.
Try it out and you will have fewer problems with the temperature, because where nothing rubs there is no heat and wear
